Grape Vibes Kombucha is one of the most refreshing flavors offered! It tastes like you personally picked a sun ripe grape off the vine, chilled it and ate it at peak perfection! Crisp, bright and fresh! Raspberries and grapes are two of the freshest flavors when combined, but they don’t only taste great, the health benefits from these jolly fruits are amazing!
Kombucha alone is a great source of probiotics. Probiotics are live microorganisms that help improve digestion with your gut flora. They are safe to consume and when fermented with tea and fruit flavors they form kombucha. Health-Ade pairs their incredibly high-quality small-batch kombucha with fruit juices that are just as beneficial. Grapes are incredibly high in vitamin C and vitamin K which are great for your skin and immunity. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that has skin healing properties like helping with hyperpigmentation, enhance radiance and inhabits melanin. Raspberries are a powerhouse little berry! A handful of fresh raspberries (frozen works too if you thaw, the drink will be redder)
Handful of ice
3oz of blanco tequila
In a cocktail shaker add your raspberries, ice, and vodka
Give those ingredients a very strong shake for about 45 seconds to break up the raspberries and let the juice out
Next, add your ¾ bottle of Grape Vibes Kombucha, using a cocktail stirrer, mix the Kombucha with the raspberries, ice, and vodka
Be careful not to shake with the Kombucha, it will bubble out due to the bubbles
Pour into a chilled coupe glass, garnish with a grape or a raspberry!

Ginger lemon Health-Ade is one of my go-to flavors. Despite the weather, the benefits from this flavor invigorate my body year-round. When it is particularly cold outside, I love how the ginger warms me, but when it is warm out, I love that the lemon adds depth and brightness!
Ginger root is an ingredient that I try to cook, bake and enjoy not only for the flavor but the skin and inner radiance benefits. Ginger has many benefits for healing the body and was originally used for medicine with naturopathic doctors. Ginger aids in easing the stomach and digestion and when paired with lemon the pair is unstoppable. Lemon is very high in vitamin c which is incredible for your digestion as well as your skin. The high level of vitamin c in lemons helps reduce your risk for kidney stones, heart disease and regulate your vitamin levels. Ginger is also an anti-inflammatory, which helps with inflammation during digestion.
The benefits from these ingredients on their own are outstanding, but when paired together in this delicious ginger lemon-mint julep mocktail, they not only taste amazingly refreshing, I know they are working to aid my body from the inside out.

Let me just say, we had 0 fall in Montana. Fall for us lasted all of 3 days and then it snowed for a week and was below -8°F…which was rough for October.
I have found myself as I get older moving away from straight apple cider and finding ways to spice up my fall apple drinks. When I was recipe testing for this cocktail, I tried multiple variations of spice levels and landed on the recipe below. I felt that this level of spice, was perfect to carry fall into the holidays for November and December.
This recipe is bright from the apples, subtly gingery from the kombucha and spicy from the cinnamon. Truly a balance on the palate that gives you life in the holiday months!
Grapefruit, like many citrus. fruits doesn’t get enough recognition. The zest, the tang and the sweetness all in one deliciously beautiful package. Summer evenings after a long day of work call for a refreshing cocktail that not only lingers flavor on the tongue but adds excitement to your cocktail. This rosemary grapefruit spritzer is perfect for this. The sweet but savory combination of the rosemary adds an element to this drink that would’t be nearly as tasty without it.
When I think of my ideal cocktail, it has to include fine bubbles, some tasty tequila (YAY), a citrus spike and a herbaceous element.
Not a tequila fan? I would sub Tito’s vodka instead. Another clear alcohol will do the trick here!
Let’s talk muddling!
I was never a big drinker, and still am not. I will dabble in a healthy cocktail on the weekend, but dug into the purpose of muddling herbs, fruit and rinds in a cocktail before adding in your liquids. The muddling element with fruit and herbs means you press them with strength against the side of the glass. This motion releases the flavor elements and helps them bind with the alcohol. Once combined there is a seamless infusion with the alcohol into the cocktail.
I find that muddling the rosemary in this spritzer truly brings out the flavor without being harsh and bitter how some cooked rosemary can come off. These flavors together truly make a cohesive and refreshing drink.

Sangria might sound daunting when you first think about making it yourself, but really all you need it some fruit, wine of choice and my favorite addition, a sparkling lemonade.
What Is Sangria?
The word sangria stems is Spanish for a drink that is a mix of wine, fresh fruit and lemonade. A perfect pairing to hot summers in Spain. There are so many ways to enjoy a sangria, you can have it on the spicy side, like a mulled wine for a fall/winter flavor or you can have it bright and fresh with white wine for a summer treat! My all time go to sangria recipe for fall/winter calls for in season fruits and pairs beautifully with a full body red wine, see recipe here. Since it is warm now, the birds are chirping and I can feel the warm breeze in the evenings, it’s due time for a spring/summer sangria!
No Fail Recipe!
When I tell you that this recipe is no fail, I am being dead serious! All you do is add your favorite fruit, lemonade and wine into a bowl, let it chill for a few hours and viola, Sangria! One of the reasons I love making sangria, is that I can put together the most beautiful drink, and it looks beautiful on a table for company, fancy yet sophisticated. A little effort goes a long way with these bright wines.
*if frozen, don’t let thaw, toss in the pitcher cold to chill the drink
– 1 bottle or 2 cans of white wine – bright and fresh flavors for the wine profile are best
– 1 bottle of sparkling lemonade (Italian soda will work)
1. in a pitcher, pour your white wine and sparkling lemonade, stir until well mixed
2. next, add your fresh or frozen peaches
3. let chill for 30 minutes to 2 hours before serving, serve cold and enjoy!

Spring is one of my favorite seasons! I’m a spring babies (yay for Aries!)! Ever since I was a kid, March marked the first official day of Spring in my eyes!
A spring lover, citrus enthusiast and very much into this spring-tini recipe! Spring signifies more of a refresh to me than the new year. There is something so inviting about sitting outside when the weather starts to get nice again, revisiting all the familiarity of the warm weather just a year earlier and listening to the birds chirp in their happiness that just warms my soul.
I talk a lot on my instagram and my blogs for Health-Ade about finding happiness within. The idea of personal motivation and growth is something that I push myself to feel daily. When I feel the warmth of the sun peeking out behind clouds after a long and cold winter, the self love and positively that got me through the grey winter shines light on the truth of my goals.
As a true spring lover, I created the freshest tasting Spring-tini to get those winter blues in the past! With the help of arguably one of the most refreshing flavors from Health-Ade, the Blood Orange Carrot, this Spring-tini makes any party better! Have no fear! If you don’t drink alcohol there is a mocktail recipe as well!
perfect cocktail for a night on the porch enjoying the spring weather!
– 1 full bottle of blood orange carrot Health-Ade Kombucha
– 1 handful of ice
– 6oz of tequila
– juice from 1 lime
– juice from 1 blood orange
– 1 tsp agave nectar
1. in a cocktail shaker add all your ingredients together including your ice
2. gently shake for about 30 seconds
* note kombucha does have a light bubble so don’t screw your shaker top on super tight
3. pour into 3 coupe glasses and enjoy with a garnish of blood orange
4. drink responsibly and enjoy!
*can omit tequila for a non-alcoholic version, please drink responsibly

The transition of new life with tulips blooming, the brightness of the sun, baby animals being born. The season of life and energy, Spring is about new chapters, fresh starts and even better the transition of Winter produce of citrus with the bright colors of flowers and blossoms! I feel like this year has just flown by and now the season of fall is upon us. It might come to a surprise to many of you but fall & winter are my favorite season ever. To be really specific I love late fall when it’s practically winter and porch sitting is crisp, fresh and enjoyable.
Since I was a little kid, our family meals consisted of tons of local, in season vegetables served both warm and cold. This tradition has followed me into my everyday as an adult and I have transformed my husbands diet as well. Eating locally and seasonally is extremely sustainable and helps eliminate food waste, not to mention keeps the money in the community.
The leaves are starting to change in my northern Utah neighborhood and I am seeing fresh winter squash, thick leafy greens and pomegranates fill the booths at the farmers market and our local grocery store. There is something so Martha Stewart magazine about the way these shapes, colors and smells all work together. Like Mother Nature is thanking us for enjoying the fruits of the earth. Pomegranate is hands down one of my favorite flavors and I can easily eat 7 a week when they come into season. Luckily, Health-Ade has pomegranate kombucha to keep me satisfied on the off season. One of my all time favorite ways to drink Health-Ade (in an adult way) is in my fall sangria!
Easy to make & delicious to drink!
As you can see from my sangria recipes, all the fruit involved (even the grapes) are seasonal to fall. When I was first shopping on my own for food in college, I found myself printing out seasonal shopping lists to take with me to the store to make sure I was being as efficient as possible. Fast forward, to today, eating and shopping this way has become routine, but I have put together an October seasonal shopping list for you to jump on the bandwagon!
