Palmiers are a sweet flakey treat that I have always wanted to bake! So, I decided to bite the bullet and bake them this weekend. They are way easier than I would have expected! These French pastries are to die for. They are flakey, and light, but buttery and covered in cinnamon sugar!

There are two ways you can make these: 1 with cinnamon sugar, and 2 with regular granulated sugar. I went the cinnamon route since, I. Love. Cinnamon.

Lately, I've been all about trying new things in my baking. Altering old recipes to make them fresh or trying new ones! My experience with this has been so rewarding and fun! This recipe though was amazingly fun to try and I hope you find it as fun!

When you hit the center, fold those two pieces together to form a heart shape in the dough

Using a pastry cutter or a sharp (unserated knife), cut the dough 1/2 inch thick and place the pastries on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 7-10 minutes until golden brown and the sugar is caramelized!

Next big step is to enjoy these tasty treats! Talk about yummy!!

I hope you guys try these and enjoy them as much as Drew, Moose and I did!
