Let's chat about life over a delicious vegan hot chocolate! I try to keep Front Paige about baking but I do share life things on my instagram and I felt that it was time to open up with you guys and share a little more about my personal life! I've gotten a lot of new followers in the past few months so let's have some real life updates and have thought deep and hard about starting a youtube channel to chronicle this crazy time in our lives! Stay tuned it is coming!
This past year has been a whirl wind to say the least but I am finally working in a field that I truly love! I graduated from college in May of 2016, and started working at Williams Sonoma Inc. in July of 2016. Drew was off doing Air Force work and we had to take a year of long distance (not fun)! When we settled in Salt Lake City around May of this year, 2017, (2 weeks after unpacking our wedding gifts in May), we got the news that Drew was off to Florida for 12 months starting in August for active duty Air Force work! Fast forward to our beautiful wedding July 7, 2017, in Ennis, MT we had the best time and knew that we were awaiting a move!
Now here we are! October. Drew is away for this first part of his training and has been gone since August 6th, (I will join him in November in Florida). It's been a crazy 3 months of marriage and I know other military wives know this feeling all too well. It doesn't get easier but I feel so proud to see my husband working so hard towards goals he set for himself when he was 6 years old! I wanted to share this with you all because most "bloggers" have the perfect white kitchen and the perfect cute house right after marriage and share it on their blogs. I wouldn't change what is going on in my life just for perfect images for my site! We are going from our apartment (weird speckled counters), to Air Force housing (the whole house is beige--not the cutest) but I know that it's not the perfect kitchen that is home. Home is where you are the happiest and the happiest for me is when I'm with my husband and enjoying time over our hot cocoa or coffee in the mornings.
