Brown Sugar Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Chocolate Chip cookies are the best cookie out there! They are simple, yet complex and literally perfect at any point of the day. Yea, I said they are great for breakfast with some coffee! I mean I'm really not the only one who wants cookies for breakfast! I'd say they are nutritious, because there's butter in them! 

Any way! I tried a new take on the "Classic Chocolate Chip cookie" seen here in a skillet. I absolutely love love love brown sugar! By only using brown sugar in these cookies (instead of granulated sugar). Honestly they are so rich and creamy, I wanted to just eat them all!

I also am a big fan of combining chocolates in my treats, last seen here and here in the brownie bites. For these brown sugar cookies I used both white chocolate chips and the original chocolate chip cookie staple, the semi sweet chocolate chip! By combining these you really get a rich delicious flavor! (Optimum YUMMY times is what it really means, also it means you can't have JUST ONE!!!)

Brown Sugar Chocolate Chip Cookies: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 

In a bowl with a stand mixer using the paddle attachment or with a hand mixer on medium speed cream the butter and the brown sugar

Add in the salt, vanilla extract, the baking soda, the water and the cinnamon

Slowly add in the flour one cup at a time, mixing throughly to get all the flour in the dough

Remove the bowl from the stand mixer, or remove the hand mixer and using a rubber spatula, slowly stir in the chocolate chips (both kinds)

 

- 2 cups of packed light brown sugar

- 2 sticks of unsalted butter

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 teaspoon hot water

- 3 cups of unbleached all purpose flour

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Stir in the chocolate chips and then grab teaspoon sized balls of dough and roll into a ball. Place on an un-greased  cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes until they are golden brown and the edges are crispy!
